What we say about appliances.

When we mention appliances in our reports we try, where possible, to record makes and model numbers.

Why do we do this?

  • This is essential to check that the same item has been left at the end of tenancy that was in place at the start of the tenancy.
  • Doing this also helps to assess costs for replacement or compensation where items are damaged.
  • We can take photographs of the appliance and use those as reference points if the make or model number is inaccessible.

People and property are my passion, and I love it when they work together in harmony, especially when it involves a binding legal agreement that provides an accurate written record of the condition, contents, and cleanliness of a property at the beginning, during and end of a tenancy. My role is to share insights, knowledge, skills, and know-how with people invested in property. Read more about the evolution of IAM Inventories.
